Hi! I’m Carie
My relationship with obesity and emotional eating began at a young age. By the time I graduated high school I weighed 315 lbs! A few years ago I faced a health scare from out-of-control stress and anxiety…and I got fed up. Fed up with the poor treatment and judgement overweight and obese women receive. Fed up with the lies sold by the diet industry. So I returned to my science root and started learning how my body and brain worked. It’s been an amazing journey…the female body is a truly remarkable thing!
But there is still so much misinformation out there and so many people preying on the vulnerabilities of women who struggle with their bodies, and what society is telling them their bodies should look like. It makes me angry and it needs to stop.
My mission is to empower women of all body sizes to master the 5 pillars of health, using personalized, evidence-based strategies to support long-term wellness and success. I use the power of change psychology in a compassionate and supportive approach based on what you want for your life.
